About Five Picks

What we do

Five Picks publishes editorial reviews of consumer products. We read product materials, labels and published terms, look at what ingredient research does and does not show, and summarize prices and buying conditions in plain English.

What we are not

• We are not the manufacturer, seller or official store of any product we cover.
• We are not a healthcare provider or a medical publication, and we don't give medical advice.
• We do not run laboratory or clinical tests. Unless a review documents a genuine hands-on test, our reviews are research-based.

Who writes our reviews

Reviews are published under the label "Five Picks Editorial." We are a small independent publication, not a large staff of experts, and we don't claim credentials we don't have.

How we're funded

Five Picks may earn a commission when readers buy through links on the site. See our affiliate disclosure and editorial policy for details.
